Journal History

Jurnal Keperawatan Padjadjaran (JKP) is a journal flatform published by the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran located in Indonesia. In 2013, JKP has a collaboration with the Central Executive Board of the Indonesian National Nurses Association (INNA). Since 2015, JKP has received the title of Scientific Journal with Accredited Rank 2 by Science and Technology Index (SINTA) with No. 30/E/KPT/2018 from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Indonesia. Furthermore, in 2020, JKP collaborated with the Association of Indonesian Nurses Educational Institutions (AINEC) in the publishing process. In the same year, JKP carried out national re-accreditation and still ranked 2 by SINTA with No. 148/M/KPT/2020 which is valid until 2024.

JKP has been indexed since it was published on the EBSCO (2021), DOAJ (2015), SINTA, Dimensions, Crossref, Garuda Portal, Google Scholar, BASE, Index Copernicus International, ROAD, OCLC WorldCat, Scilit, SHERPA RoMEO, Indonesia OneSearch, ISJD, Harvard Library, Universiteit Leiden, and University of Saskatchewan.

Since its initial publication, JKP has consistently been published three times a year, namely in April, August, and December. In 2018, JKP was published entirely in English from previously in Bahasa Indonesia. Currently, the types of accepted articles vary, including original articles, editorials, cases, letters to editors, and review articles.

To maintain the quality and follow the standard of publication, JKP adheres to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). JKP has signed the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), which supports its mission of advancing practical and robust approaches to research assessment worldwide and across all scholarly disciplines.

To provide the international readers and the needs of information and content in the published article, from volume 9 number 2 to the present, JKP has a new layout article. Starting from January 2022, JKP has been upgraded from Open Journal System (OJS) version 2 to version 3.
